Do you get a little pang of excitement whenever you're going flying in a plane? You'll get the same buzz! Our volunteer tour guide, Phil, made it unforgettable with the in depth knowledge and stories from his own experiences in the air. It was a drive by decision to visit, and I'm so glad we did.

This aircraft Museum situated at the Illawarra Airport is a place everyone should visit. It is situated around two hours south of Sydney and next to the Princes Highway the main coastal road south towards Melbourne. The exhibition is historical with professional volunteers to explain the history and flying capabilities of the various planes on show. At present it is the largest exhibition in Australia. We must take our children there to experience some of the history of flight. From very small fast flying planes to the largest Jumbo 747.

This aircraft museum is fantastic. The guide Ken showed us around a variety of commercial and air force planes with enthusiasm. It is located at the airport and most planes are restored to fly. Worthy of the time to see even if you are not an enthusiasts
